Job Description
Work as part of the IT Team with the firms CAD and Revit specialists to identify trends and business opportunities relating to design technologies.
- Developing strategies for improved project delivery and processes.
- Train staff and act as a daytoday technical resource for the Revit and BIM users at all GLMV offices to ensure BIM standards are maintained.
- Lead the GLMV BIM committee.
- Coordinate the provision of hardware and network support for BIM production.
- Manage software products including but not limited to incorporating new version releases and customization of the product as well as supporting software.
- Implement and enforce BIM standards including protocols and procedures for maintaining content files.
- Assist project managers in BIM project setup and in creating Revit projectspecific families.
- Create Revit Guidelines and training materials/resources for GLMVs intranet.
- Create and maintain software template files to assure standards remain functional for Revit users.
- Direct and oversee development of automated routines in BIM to support standards and productivity.
- Troubleshoot BIM software problems as needed.
- Conduct internal continuing education (lunch & learns training sessions etc.
- Provide technical onboarding to new hires.
- Evaluate new BIM related software and technologies and remain up to date on all software updates.
- Attend conferences that relate to BIM software and technologies and integrate newly learned workflows at GLMV.
Expertise with Autodesk Revit 2021 and 2023 along with continued awareness of future versions.
- Experience in training developing and mentoring all staff levels in BIM technology.
- Knowledge of all phases of the architectural project .
- Knowledge of a variety of project delivery methods including IPD and Lean construction.
- Ability to create software implementation project plans schedules and protocols.
- Ensure project teams successful performance in accordance with the project plans.

- Guardian for Revit

- And/or VR/AR technologies
- Ownership and accountability for project and firmwide success.
- Excels in a teambased and fastpaced environment.
- Strong communication skills.
Degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology.
Minimum of 810 years of experience in the AEC industry with at least 6 years of working experience with BIM technology.
Autodesk Revit Professional certification or equivalent.
Architectural licensure preferred.
