Job Description
MISTRAS Services Inc. is a leading provider of NDE Wind and Rope Access Mechanical Services. Specializing in both traditional and advanced NDE methods we are dedicated to delivering professional highquality services with a strong emphasis on safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections interpret findings and report results in accordance with company requirements.
- Generate NDE and inspection reports.
- Maintain a safe work environment by strictly following safety standards regulations and best practices.
- Perform assigned duties in line with MISTRAS core values and procedures.
- Ensure NDE certification is up to date (CGSB UT2 MT2 PT2.
- Carry out inspections within your certification scope.
- Navigate within a nuclear power plant including access to elevated platforms confined spaces and ladders.
Qualifications
- CGSB Level II 2 certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) and Penetrant Testing (PT).
Nuclear Clearance. - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic computer systems.
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Ability to follow instructions maintain focus and multitask efficiently.
- Willingness to travel to site.
- Must submit a valid drivers license a 3year driving abstract and pass a preaccess drug and alcohol test prior to site access.
Essential Job Demands
- Ability to lift and carry up to 55 pounds.
