Job Description
The Director of Production leads the technical education within the undergraduate BA Theatre Program reporting directly to Program Directorof the Theatre Program. The Director Oversees all technical aspects of the MainStage studentled Studio Productions and performance classwork from planning to . Advises faculty students and collaborating artists on all aspects of production. Leads a production team including the Technical Director Assistant Technical Director Light and Sound Supervisor Costume Shop Supervisor and Assistant Costume Shop Supervisor as well as student crews workstudy students and overhire. This position advises on best practices and venue policies including health and safety protocols. The position while serving both campuses will be housed in Lincoln Center. Being adjacent to Lincoln Center the Juilliard School and Broadway the Theatre and Visual Arts programs are strategically important to Fordham University. Our goal is to make these programs a destination for those who want to study theater and the arts in New York City as well as work here to make the program a preeminent one
