Job Description

Psychiatric Nurse (RN or LPN)

Registered Nurse (RN) $30/Hr Base)

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) $25/Hr Base)

MHS currently has fulltime parttime and PRN opportunities for Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) on the 24Hour Acute Care Unit (inpatient services) located in Springfield OH. Alternating weekends and holidays may be required depending on your status and shift. Our 16 bed unit isfast paced environment and prior mental or behavioral health experience is preferred but not required. We have both 8 and 12hour shifts available.

As a nurse on the ACU you are responsiblefor the overall care and safety of patients assigned to the unit admissions/discharges during shift to the unit medication administrationchartingas required in the Electronic Health Record and supervision of the MHTs assigned to you during each shifts

We currently havethefollowing shifts:

FT 7P7A)
FT 11P7A)
PT 7P7A)
PRNAll Shifts

Qualified candidates will have:

OH RN or LPN license active and valid
1 year of behavioral or mental health experience as a nurse

PRN and Weekend Warrior Premium Pay available (with commitment)

MHS provides CPR/First Aid and NVCI (CPI Blue) for all new staff along with ongoing education and onthejob training opportunities.

All MHS candidates are required to have an Ohio BCI check (FBI check required if you have lived in Ohio for less than 5 years or for working with children) 5panel drug screen and residential candidates must have a 2 step TB (or proof of prior TB) upon conditional offer of employment.
