Head Start Lead Teacher
$5000 signon bonus
Do you have a passion to make a difference and positively impact young children and their families At YCCAC Head Start we are more than a daycare. We are committed to providing highquality child care and comprehensive education health and wellbeing services to children from 6 weeks to 5 years. We are now hiring a Lead Teacher to join us in our mission of creating a warm and supportive environment where children and families can thrive.

- $5000 signon bonus payable in four installments $1000 after completion of months 3 6 9 & $2000 after 1 year external applicants only).

Your role:
- Partnering with families to develop child focused goals that meet individual needs.
- Planning implementing and documenting a comprehensive child development program suitable for preschoolers.
- Building positive and supportive relationships with children and families.
- Coordinating the daily operations of the classroom while supervising the activities of 1 or more staff members.
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Early Childhood (Bachelors Degree preferred).
- Experience working with children in a centerbased setting; prior experience working with families and supervising others preferred.
- Willing to work flexible hours to meet families needs.
- Immunized against MMR (Measles Mumps Rubella) and TDaP (Tetanus Diphtheria Pertussis).
- Must be able to pass a background check to include DHHS and fingerprinting.
