Select Physical Therapy is seeking a full time occupational hand therapist for our outpatient orthopedic clinic in Palmer AK. Our clinics are fully equipped to provide care to patients ranging from postsurgical cases to nonoperative conditions to work conditioning. You will have the opportunity to work closely with other clinicians and therapists. Responsibilities
- Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how occupational therapists may practice and whom occupational therapists may supervise.
- Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.
- Evaluate treat and direct treatment for patients for whom occupational therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly.
- Maintain open and respectful communication with coworkers physicians patients family members and thirdparty payors at all times.
- Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) accredited school of occupational therapy
- Valid State Occupational Therapy License required
- CardioPulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) or within 1 year eligibility to sit for CHT exam
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual
