We are Hiring at Jewish Hospital OHRR/CVICU
Location: 200 Abraham Flexner Way Louisville KY 40202
Shift Options: Full Time
About the Unit
CVIC/OHRR is a 17bed Open Heart Recovery & Cardiothoracic ICU that serves patients who undergo such cardiac vascular and thoracic surgical procedures as CABG valve replacement/repair heart transplantation and lung transplantation. Patients include those who require redo sternotomy as well as ministernotomy aortic aneurysm repair and CABG/valve combination procedures. Nurses care for patients who require a variety of mechanical circulatory support devices as well as ECMO.

The center also includes a Pancreas Disease Center a GI Motility Clinic and Advanced Heart Failure and VAD programs.
Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse Manager will have responsibility for the overall operations of the nursing unit to include financial performance service quality clinical outcomes quality improvement employee satisfaction and patient satisfaction. The Clinical Manager of the Nursing Department will have direct reporting responsibility to a designated Nursing Director.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Licensed or eligible for license in Kentucky
- Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Bachelors degree from accredited college or University
Preferred Qualifications
- MSN or MHA preferred.
- Preferred certification in relevant field: CCMC (Commission for Case Management Certification) ANCC RNBC (Board Certification in Nursing Case Management or ACM (Accredited Case Manager Certification).
