Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Admission Counselor to join our prestigious IB School located in Gurugram Sec57. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the education sector specifically working in schools and possessing a thorough understanding of the IB curriculum and admission processes.
Responsibilities:
- Admissions Process Management: Manage the endtoend admissions process from initial inquiry to final enrollment ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for prospective students and their parents/guardians.
- Student Counseling: Provide personalized counseling sessions to prospective students and their families addressing their queries concerns and guiding them through the admission requirements curriculum and facilities offered by the school.
- Application Evaluation: Review and evaluate student applications academic records and other relevant documents to assess eligibility and suitability for admission to the CBSE Residential School.
- Outreach and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to devise and execute admission outreach programs promotional events and recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of potential students.
- Interviews and Assessments: Conduct interviews aptitude tests and other assessments to gauge the aptitude interests and potential of applicants.
- Parent Engagement: Foster positive relationships with parents/guardians address their concerns and highlight the advantages of our residential school to gain their trust and support.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate and uptodate records of applicant data admission decisions and relevant communication to ensure efficient reporting and followup.
- Collaborative Efforts: Collaborate with the academic and administrative teams to coordinate admissionrelated activities including orientations and enrollment procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Education Counseling or a related field.
- Previous experience as an Admission Counselor in schools specifically with knowledge of IB/CBSE curriculum and admission procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with prospective students and parents.
- Familiarity with educational marketing strategies and recruitment techniques is a plus.
- Empathy and sensitivity to understand the needs and concerns of students and parents during the admission process.

Qualification: Any Graduate
