Middle School Level Classroom Teacher Position (Science and Math)School Year

St. Madeleine Sophie Schoolin Bellevue WA is seeking a certified Elementary and/or Secondary Education teacher with a background in Special Education to teach a variety of middle school subjects including Science and Math for theschool year. Class sizes are expected to be approximately1520 students or fewer per period with an emphasis onsmall math classesin middle school. Our cyclical science curriculum ensures teachers focus on teachingone subject to all three science classes per year.

We are seeking an energetic proactive selfstarter who is eager to grow into the role. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to:

Effectively design and manage a contemporary classroom environment.
Build strong positive communication with parents.
Engage students with diverse learning needs and styles.

Teaching Responsibilities:

Subject areas may vary depending on finalized assignments but a successful candidate will possess a strong background inMath and Scienceand a love for teaching all learners.
The role will likely include one homeroom period.

Preferred Qualifications:

Training incurrent instructional techniquesandinnovative learning theory.
Familiarity withWashington States Learning Standards.
A practicing Catholic with experience in private school education is desired.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary range is$50000 $65000 Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity internal salary ranges market data applicants skills and prior relevant experience degrees and certifications.
