Job Description
AsSr. Data Scientist II youll lead efforts to conceptualize design implement and support AI test and evaluation (AI T&E) workflows for AI/ML uses involving computer vision. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AI/ML orchestration tools modeling and simulation and Python and have a deep understanding of data science principles. Familiarity with computer vision ML practices is a significant advantage.

What youll do:
- Lead Computer Vision AI/ML efforts as part of a 10person crossfunctional team
- Understand customer AI workflows and recommend T&E practices procedures and tooling.
- Develop AI/ML workflows that demonstrate best practices and serve as references.
- Conduct simulations to evaluate the performance of proposed solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate tooling into operational systems.
- Document and present findings to stakeholders providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Stay informed about emerging trends in data science and machine learning to incorporate cuttingedge techniques.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to modeling and simulation.
What youll need to succeed:
- An active DoD Secret clearance
- Bachelors degree in Data Science Computer Science Mathematics Statistics or a related field (Masters or PhD preferred).
- 7 years of experience in data science with a focus on model development and optimization.
- Handson experience with Python for data analysis modeling and simulation.
- Experience working with computer vision models tools and systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python and associated data science libraries (e.g. pandas NumPy scikitlearn PyTorch MLFlow).
- Experience with simulation tools and techniques.
- Solid understanding of machine learning concepts statistical analysis and algorithm design.
