Job Description
As the Senior Product Manager on the Roblox Studio team you will be instrumental in shaping the future of tools that empower our vast global community of creators to build more engaging and large scale experiences. This role involves collaborating with a talented team of engineers designers and product leaders to create innovative solutions leveraging Generative AI with a particular focus on empowering creators through enhanced scripting and versioning workflows.
A successful candidate will have an indepth understanding of the broader AI and gaming industry landscape. You will also be a skilled communicator collaborator and problemsolver.
Robloxs goal is to capture 10 of the gaming market. This is an important role that presents the opportunity to make a significant impact on the development of a large number of games played daily around the world.
You Will:
- Define drive and evangelize the AI product vision and strategy for Roblox Studio
- Lead the development of innovative GenAIpowered tools that empower creators to build more efficiently and effectively.
- Steer crossfunctional teams (engineering design product marketing etc. to deliver innovative features that delight our community and streamline creator workflows
- Define and track key metrics to measure the success and iterate based on datadriven insights.
- Contribute to the overall product strategy and direction for the Studio platform.
- Stay uptodate on the latest advancements in AI particularly in GenAI applications in creative workflows.
You Have:
- Technical Acumen: You effectively collaborate with engineering on intricate technical challenges and possess the ability to delve into deep technical details.
- UserCentric Vision: You deeply understand user needs and can translate emerging AI and industry trends into a compelling product vision and strategic roadmap.
- Exceptional Communication: You excel at clearly articulating product vision strategy and roadmaps to diverse audiences fostering understanding and alignment.
- Proven Experience: You hold a Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science Computer Engineering or a related technical field. You have a 5 year demonstrable track record in product management preferably within creator tools content platforms or AIpowered applications.
- (Preferred) GenAI Creator Tooling Expertise: You possess a strong understanding of applied AI and have experience with tools such as AIpowered code generation asset creation and analytical insights.
- (Preferred) IDE Version Control and Game Creation Experience: You demonstrate a solid understanding of coding version control systems and game creation workflows.
