As aMicro Assembly Process Engineer you will lead the feasibility process development and equipment bringup for cuttingedge microassembly processes used in flexible medical device manufacturing. This role will focus on developing and optimizing key processes such as laser scribing liftoff and delamination of polyimide (PI) devices tab bonding ACF bonding pickandplace assembly and wafer testing and inspection as well as other potentially.
You will be at the forefront of bringing advanced healthcare solutions to market making a tangible difference in peoples lives worldwide.

Main responsibilities:- Development to Production Transfer: The principal responsibility of development team is to manage the developmenttoproduction transfer process ensuring that prototype designs are effectively scaled for manufacturing with a focus on yield improvement design optimization and manufacturing readiness. This includes creating and refining the Bill of Materials (BOM) Bill of Processes (BOP) manufacturing equipment specifications testing protocols and manufacturing recipes.
- Proactively conduct feasibility studies to evaluate new micro assembly processes and equipment for manufacturing flexible PIbased devices.
- Develop and optimize laser scribing processes for precision cutting and structuring of flexible substrates.
- Lead the development of liftoff and delamination processes for flexible polyimide devices ensuring reliable separation and handling.
- Drive the tab bonding and ACF (Anisotropic Conductive Film) bonding processes to ensure strong electrical and mechanical connections.
- Support internal development of over molding processes for strain relief and biocompatibility.
- Oversee pickandplace assembly of microelectronic components ensuring high accuracy and repeatability.
- Develop and implement wafer testing and inspection processes to ensure device quality and compliance with manufacturing standards.
- Manage equipment bringup working closely with vendors to ensure tools meet manufacturing requirements and are qualified for production use.
- Ensure processes comply with ISO 13485 standards including documentation risk assessment and validation activities.
- Transfer developed processes to the clean room manufacturing team providing training and technical support as needed.
- Support thirdparty CMOs ensuring they are capable of scaling processes to meet production demands and quality standards.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including R&D automation and quality to ensure successful product launches and process transfers.
Mandatory Qualifications and Soft skills:- Bachelors or Masters degree in Materials Science Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 23 years experience in medical device assembly process development particularly in flexible devices or advanced microfabrication.
- Fluency in English required (company main language)
- Familiarity with process control methodologies SPC FMEA DOE and manufacturing documentation.
- Experience with equipment qualification and tool bringup in a clean room environment.
- Understanding ofISO 13485 requirements for medical device manufacturing.
- Analytical ProblemSolver: Ability to troubleshoot complex process issues and develop innovative solutions.

- Knowledge of tab bonding and ACF bonding processes for flexible electronics.
- Experience with pickandplace assembly equipment and waferlevel testing.
- Experience with thin film processes such as PVD lithography etc.
- Familiarity with automation integration for microassembly processes.
- Knowledge of vacuum systems and precision alignment tools.
- Previous experience working with thirdparty CMOs to scale production processes.
- Experience in medical device manufacturing or other regulated environments (ISO 13485 GMP).
- Understanding of yield management and defect analysis for waferlevel processes.
