Career Consulting Partners has formed a strategic alliance with a thriving plaintiff firm that focuses on Labor & Employment the right way.We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PreLitigation Labor & Employment Attorney to join our team. In this role you will manage singleplaintiff employment cases during the prelitigation phase focusing on client interaction case evaluation and early resolution strategies.
Your efforts will be instrumental in upholding our firms commitment to protecting employee rights and achieving favorable outcomes for our clients. We are very selective in the cases we choose to pursue respecting both our clients time and our firms time ensuring our energy is invested in matters where we can truly make an impact. .
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee a caseload of singleplaintiff employment matters from intake through prelitigation resolution ensuring timely and effective handling.
Conduct thorough interviews with clients to understand their situations provide legal advice and set realistic expectations.
Analyze potential claims related to wrongful termination discrimination harassment retaliation wage and hour violations and other employment law issues.
Draft and send persuasive demand letters to employers articulating the legal basis of claims and seeking appropriate remedies.
Engage in settlement discussions with opposing counsel or employers aiming to resolve disputes favorably without litigation.
Prepare and review legal documents ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Work closely with paralegals and support staff to gather necessary documentation and evidence to support clients claims.
Stay updated on federal state and local employment laws and regulations to provide informed guidance and representation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active member in good standing with the California State Bar
Minimum of 2 years of employment law experience with an emphasis on plaintiffside representation
Experience with FEHA andwage and hour claims
While not required familiarity with PAGA matters is considered a valuable asset.
Familiarity with mediation arbitration and other ADR strategies
Strong analytical and legal research abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven negotiation skills with a track record of achieving favorable settlements.
Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and effectively.
Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently.
BENEFITS & COMPENSATION:
Compensation: $130000 $150000
Plus additional compensation on settled cases
