Mission
We are recruiting for several Electrical System Engineers to join our growing team in the UK. We invite individuals who are eager to embrace this thrilling opportunity to apply.
EKIUM a leading French company in engineering for industrial facilities buildings utilities and automation in process industries and energy is at the forefront of managing significant projects globallyfrom initial feasibility studies to ongoing maintenance.
Our UK branch represents a new chapter for us having already established a strong presence in the UK Nuclear sector.
We are eager to recruit toptier professionals to join our South West office contributing to our core engineering team that supports Nuclear New Build projects at Hinkley Point C (HPC) and Sizewell C (SZC).
What Youll Be Doing
- Create assess and revise system documentation for various electrical systems (DN DS DX) which encompasses operator guidelines humanmachine interface specifications safety and environmental standards control logic design and routine testing in line with engineering protocols methodologies quality standards and tools.
- Oversee interactions with the client disciplines related to radioprotection equipment contracts managing the design and operation of EPR systems throughout the design construction and commissioning stages ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards as well as design specifications.
- Guarantee the seamless integration of detailed mechanical diagrams functional diagrams and 3D models into the relevant tools.
- Process modification requests from different engineering teams assess the consistency of these changes critically evaluate their necessity and collaborate to ensure their feasibility and validity.
- Engage in knowledgesharing initiatives (OPEX shared with other projects and when applicable integrate insights from other projects within HPC).
Profile
Your Skills and Experience:
We would be excited to hear from you if you possess the following skills and experience:
- Familiarity with RCCE electrical technical regulations and the technical reference framework (NFC15100 / NF C 13200 / BS7671 / IEC 60909.
- Understanding of the nuclear sector through academic studies or professional experience.
- Awareness of the processes involved in industrial projects within the energy sector.
- Experience in reviewing technical documents.
- Background in the radioprotection field including instrumentation equipment design procurement testing or installation.

This role is full time consultancy position 40 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
