Job Description

Are you a creative enthusiastic Year 1 teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity We are seeking a fulltime permanent Year 1 teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Brent for a April 2025 start. This role offers the chance to work with an engaging and diverse group of children delivering a curriculum that focuses on holistic development and the nurturing of every childs potential.

Your Role:

  • Plan and deliver creative engaging lessons that align with the KS1 curriculum
  • Foster a positive supportive classroom culture ensuring that all students feel valued and motivated
  • Provide individualised learning plans for students ensuring their needs are met and their progress is monitored
  • Use assessment for learning strategies to track progress and inform future teaching plans
  • Collaborate with parents and carers to ensure that students learning is supported both in school and at home

What Were Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Key Stage 1
  • Passion for early childhood education and developing creative playbased learning experiences
  • Experience in differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of children
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community
