We are excited to announce an excellent opportunity for a Year 1 Teacher to join a nurturing and inclusive school community starting in April 2025. This is a fulltime role with the possibility of an extension in September 2025.
About the Role:
As a Year 1 Teacher you will be responsible for delivering highquality engaging lessons ensuring that young learners meet their potential in a supportive and stimulating environment. You will play a key role in the development of students academic social and emotional skills while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to Year 1 students
Build positive relationships with students parents and colleagues
Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning in the classroom
Support students emotional and social development
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning
Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities
About You:
We are looking for a passionate energetic and creative Year 1 Teacher who will inspire and motivate young children. The ideal candidate will be:
Enthusiastic and committed to helping students achieve their full potential
A strong communicator who can effectively collaborate with staff parents and students
Able to adapt to the changing needs of children fostering a supportive learning environment
Reflective with a commitment to personal and professional development
Experienced in teaching at Key Stage 1 ideally in Year 1
Key Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience in teaching at Key Stage 1 ideally in Year 1
Strong organisational and communication skills
A proactive teamoriented approach to teaching and learning
A genuine passion for working with young children and contributing to their educational journey
