Job Description
David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leadingB2B solution providerwho are looking to recruit an IT System Administratorfortheir Gaming studios in Belgrade Serbia.
Position: IT System Administrator
Location: Belgrade Serbia
Employment type: Fulltime
Remuneration: Base salary
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the installation configuration and upkeep of operating systems server hardware and software applications ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
- Continuously monitor system performance availability and reliability.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact operations.
- Optimize system efficiency through adjustments upgrades and process improvements.
- Implement and manage security protocols to protect systems applications and data.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments apply necessary patches and ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity. Regularly test recovery procedures to ensure quick and effective during emergencies.
- Provide advanced technical support to resolve systemrelated issues including hardware software and network challenges.
- Collaborate with other teams to support projects and ensure smooth system operations.
- Assist with system migrations upgrades and deployments ensuring minimal disruption.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams to support technology initiatives and ensure system scalability and reliability.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Native or fluent in English (C1 level) with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
- At least 5 years of experience in system administration particularly in large or complex environments. Proficiency in managing both Windows and Linux server systems.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware HyperV) and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP).
- Strong expertise in managing essential services like Active Directory DNS and DHCP.
- Proficient in automation and scripting languages like PowerShell Bash or Python. Familiarity with storage systems and backup tools such as Veeam is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of system performance monitoring and optimization techniques.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Strong communication and documentation abilities for technical reporting and user support.
- Relevant certifications in IT support networking or operating systems are a plus.
- Familiarity with streaming and broadcasting equipment is an advantage.
