An Outstanding Girls school in Enfield is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher for a permanent fulltime position starting in September. The successful Geography Teacher will inspire female students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the wonders of the world and its people.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective Geography Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE Geography examinations.
- Develop students understanding of geographical concepts issues and fieldwork skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback as a Geography Teacher.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the geography curriculum and resources.
- Encourage a curiosity about the world and its diverse environments and cultures.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Geography.
- Proven experience teaching Geography at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4.
- Strong and comprehensive knowledge of physical and human geography.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills tailored for engaging girls.
- Ability to differentiate instruction effectively to meet diverse learning needs.
