Job Description
An Outstanding Girls school in Enfield is seeking an inspiring and dedicated Maths Teacher for a permanent fulltime position starting in September. The successful Maths Teacher will have a passion for mathematics and the ability to effectively engage and motivate female students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE Mathematics examinations.
- Develop students mathematical understanding problemsolving skills and logical reasoning.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback as a Maths Teacher.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the mathematics curriculum and resources.
- Encourage a positive attitude towards mathematics and its applications.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Mathematics.
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4.
- Strong and comprehensive knowledge of mathematical concepts and pedagogy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills tailored for engaging girls.
- Ability to differentiate instruction effectively to meet diverse learning needs.
- A commitment to collaborative teamwork and a supportive school environment.
