Job Description
Summary/objective
This position is customer service friendly providing transportation for students faculty and staff of Randolph College. Position will be responsible for picking up and delivering students faculty and staff to/from destinations.
Essential functions

Must effectively perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position in a manner that consistently demonstrates Randolph Colleges mission and core values in a positive manner.
- Performs pre and post trip inspection of fleet vehicle.
- Reports on operating and equipment deficiencies.
- Ensures passenger safety.
- Obeys all traffic laws.
- Observes mandatory safety requirements.
- Records mileage and completes appropriate paperwork.
Competencies
- Possess a valid Virginia Drivers License.
- Have and maintain a safe driving record.
Supervisory responsibilities
None
Work environment
Sitting and repetitive motions.
Occasional walking.
Physical demands
Requires standing/walking/sitting for extended periods. May occasionally lift 10/15 lbs.
Travel required.
May travel infrequently on college business.

Required education and experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum five years of driving experience
Preferred education and experience
- Experience driving fleet vehicles.
- CDL license preferred but not required.

Must be authorized to work in the United States. Preemployment criminal background checks.
