Simple Technology Solutions (STS) is looking for a Human Resources Benefits and Operations Specialist to add to our team.

The role:
The Human Resources Benefits and Operations Specialist at STS provides human resources benefits and operations support (i.e. HR Benefits Operations Compliance). In this role were looking for someone who is a problemsolver with demonstrated experience in enterprise Human resources Benefits Administration Business Operations and Compliance. The Human Resources Benefits and Operations Specialist works to ensure corporate compliance is monitored current and future teammembers are engaged and supported.

The HR Benefits and Operations Specialist at STS will provide support in:
HR:
- Maintain employee personnel files ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of employee data.Bamboo HR
- Ensure adherence to federal and state employment laws including I9 verification FMLA and ADA compliance.
- Monitor and update HR processes to reflect regulatory changes.
- Maintain accurate records for compliance audits including HUBZone
- Address employee concerns and questions related to HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with employee performance management processes including performance reviews.
- Manage employee time and attendance records including leave requests and tracking.
- Assist with payroll and employee reimbursement tasks.
- Generate reports on key HR metrics such as employee turnover absenteeism and workforce demographics.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend improvements to HR practices.
- Coordinate and complete administrative and onboarding tasks (Just Works EVerify Finance and IT coordination etc..
Operations:
- Lead initiatives to streamline processes reduce costs enhance productivity and improve quality across departments.
- Work closely with various departments including finance IT HR and BD to ensure alignment and smooth operations.
- Identify opportunities for process automation implement lean methodologies and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
- Identify potential operational risks develop mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Maintain Corporate Centralized communication systems (phones)
- Mail handling and disposition
- Facility management room reservations security system etc.
- Regulatory Filings (maintain Compliance complete documentation and assist in filing as appropriate)
- Federal Government compliance (Small business HUBZone)
- ISO support team member
- Identifies to Leadership any shortfalls
- Assist with resume formatting and rewriting
- Support to Proposal and Contract startup
Benefits Administration:
- Manage employee benefits programs including health insurance retirement plans flexible spending accounts and other employee benefits.
- Process benefit enrollments changes and terminations ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulations.Assure Vendors are paid.
- Answer employee questions regarding benefits coverage and eligibility.
- Conduct open enrollment meetings and provide benefit information to employees.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Required
- BS Degree (or 4 additional years of experience)
- Minimum four 4 years of position related experience
- Proven experience in HR including benefits administration and employee relations
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees at all levels
- Proficiency in HR management systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience planning organizing and managing projects/work activities to meet deliverables on schedule and on budget
- Expertlevel experience in creating information presentations and communications using Microsoft (Word Excel PowerPoint) and Google (Docs Sheets Slides) tools
- Experience supporting an agile enterprise with a focus on a shared and collaborative work environment
- Excellent communication skills (written verbal presentation etc.
Certifications Preferred
- Human Resources (i.e. SHRM CEBS ACA)
- Project Management Contract Management (CPCM CFCM)
- SAFe or other Agile Certification
