Job Description
This is a remote position.
- Design develop and maintain FastAPIbased microservices with a focus on scalability security and performance.
- Architect and optimise backend solutions with MongoDB ensuring data integrity and efficient querying.
- Deploy and manage applications on Azure Cloud leveraging best practices in cloud architecture.
- Implement DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation for smooth deployments.
- Proactively identify and tackle technical debt while balancing immediate priorities.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities making informed decisions with minimal supervision.
- Maintain excellent documentation ensuring knowledgesharing across the team.
- Take ownership of features and drive initiatives independently demonstrating accountability and commitment.
- Communicate proactively and effectively keeping stakeholders informed on progress challenges and solutions.
Requirements
- 5 years of backend development experience with Python and FastAPI (or similar frameworks).
- Strong experience with MongoDB and NoSQL database design principles.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and API best practices.
- Handson experience with Azure Cloud services (e.g. Azure Functions Storage App Services etc.
- DevOps mindset experience with CI/CD pipelines Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritise effectively in a startup environment.
- Comfortable with quick context switching and working on multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability able to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills proactive clear and concise.
While this is a workfromhome position it is important to note that this is a fulltime role not a freelance or flexiblehour arrangement. You will be expected to work a fixed shift and maintain a high level of professionalism and accountability just as you would in an office environment.
This role requires:
Discipline and commitment to set working hours (strict shift times not flexible)
Use of timetracking software during work hours
Active participation in team and client calls with your camera ON
Consistent availability and responsiveness throughout your shift
Treating this as a longterm fulltime job not a side gig or freelance task
Payroll is processed bimonthly.
