Job Description
At Whistler Cooks Hunter Gather Cranked Mile One We love feeding people!. Its the key ingredient to producing the perfect meal wherever whenever. On any given day we could be serving with our CATERING team a plated meal to a happy couple at their wedding reception smoking up a feast at HUNTER GATHER or passing canapes and champagne to guests in a world class art gallery providing a Chefdriven casual dining experience at MILE ONE focusing on great BC ingredients or even fueling up customers with their daily caffeine fix at CRANKED.

Start Date: Ongoing
Starting Wage: $18hr up to $20hr plus tips
Work Term: Casual (specific dates through summer 2025
In this role:
You will begin your shift at the specific venue location for each event the Squamish area.
You will aim to ensure our guests get the best food service and dining experience possible.
Specific Tasks Include:
Onsite
- Room setup and teardown.
- Setup of buffet or food service and refreshment station.
- Refilling items like plates cutlery glassware as guests use them.
- Clearing tables and resetting them during shift.
- Refilling and maintaining buffets according to and using cleanliness standards.
Service
- Greet and serve all guests in a timely friendly manner.
- Prepare and deliver all food and beverage items in a timely manner.
- Follow the wine service steps when needed.
- Answer guests questions and provide information to the best of your abilities. When in doubt consult the service supervisor.
You will need to:
- Have a thorough knowledge of the menu items.
- Be able to clear and carry up to 3 12 dinner plates and cutlery.
- Have your Serving It Right Certificate.
- Hold a valid work permit or be a Canadian Citizen.
- Be available for at least three of the below dates. (extra shifts available in Whistler locations if willing to travel)
- June 7 14
- August 6
- September 13
