Radiologic Tech

As our Radiologic Tech at DMOS working in West Des Moines 8am 5pm shift (with no oncall hours) youll help our patients get back to living by taking the first step in care: getting xray images to figure out whats wrong. Every day you will work alongside our clinical team and fellow Radiologic Techs to create a comfortable patient experience ensuring everyone gets their questions answered and understands their journey to healing. To thrive in this role you must have a radiology tech license and care about the wellbeing of every patient you see.

Heres What You Can Expect

• Youll be on your feet most of the day greeting and preparing patients for their xray exam before operating the xray machine to capture highquality images. You are the patients kind guide and reliable helper during their appointment.
• Review images and make any necessary adjustments before sending them to the physician. This is a private practice where youll have access to ask questions of the care team if you need any clarification.
• A small closeknit team of professionals you can rely on who work closely with our doctors and staff to provide patient care we are proud of.

What Were Looking For

• A radiology tech license and permit to practice in the state of Iowa.
• You know how to communicate calmly and provide reassurance when patients are nervous. You know how important it is to listen ask questions and avoid interrupting your patient.
• Independent worker. You know how to keep yourself focused and when to ask for help.
