Job Description

Job Summary
Tennessee College of Applied Technology Oneida is seeking individuals in the absence of fulltime instructors to monitor groups of students in an assigned technical college program record attendance direct group activities as assigned provide instructional support to students distribute and collect daily assignments.
A knowledge of the program/industry is preferred but not required; instructors will be placed on a Substitute Instructor list and will be called as needed. Substitutes may request to serve in specific programs or will be asked to serve in programs where they have similar experience.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Evidence of two 2 years work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Technical Certificate or Diploma
Substitute teaching experienced is preferred
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Ability to manage a classroom environment with both postsecondary and high school students
Good character mature attitude and stable personality
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to be flexible and adapt plans to specific training programs
Hourly Rate
$30.00
Work Hours
Day Classes: Between 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. (est); no more than 6 hours per day
Evening Classes (Jamestown): Between 4:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m. (cst)
Evening Classes (Wartburg): Between 4:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m. (est)
