of Total Hospital Admissions Received from ED: 103 per year and 140 placed in observation

of ED Patients Admitted to the Hospital per Day: Varies

of ED Patients Transferred per Day: 173 patients transferred last fiscal year

24hrs Support Services: Radiology Laboratory Pathology

Specialty Backup: Radiologist Cardiologist Neurologist Psychiatrist

Beds in the Dept: 18 (IP beds)

Trauma Level: IV

EMR: Cerner

Switching to EPIC end of May 2025

Other Info:

ED Staff respond to House Codes

Will read EKG Interpretations the Cardiologist overreads

Responsible for Monitoring/Supervising Paramedics/Ambulance by Radio

Emergency Deliveries the facility does not have in house Labor & Delivery

Admission orders will be written by ED Physician

Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

Active IA License or IMLC

BC (ABEM/AOBEM/ABPS)

If BE within 5 years of residency

ACLS ATLS PALS

Local (highly preferred)
