Texans Credit Union has an outstanding opportunity for a Relationship Advisor (RA) as a member of our centralized sales team to serve as a phone liaison and sales expert with our members by being the main point of contact throughout their entire relationship with Texans.


RAs can quickly build rapport with members to discover their current and unmet needs. They use this knowledge to offer product solutions and close sales while maintaining a high level of member service and urgency. RAs consistently multitask communicate effectively through written and verbal communication and exceed their goals and objectives.


This role offers hybrid remote work after the initial training period. This position is required to workonsite at least twice per month after training period at our Headquarters in Richardson TX.


Major Duties and Essential Functions:

  • Make outbound calls to build rapport/relationships with new and existing Texans members to understand their full financial picture and present products to meet their needs.
  • Analyzes and utilizes all available resources including but not limited to credit reports existing relationship data and previous conversations to crosssell additional lending and credit union products and services to members over the phone.
  • Utilizes openended questions active listening and comprehension skills benefit statements to overcome objections and close the sale.
  • Effectively presents and sells additional credit union products and to meet set objectives.
  • Foster strong working relationships with Loan Advisors and other Support staff while also supporting Relationship Advisor teammates in a collaborative environment.
  • Maintain service level agreements by executing consistent follow up proactive communication with assigned members ensuring a high close ratio.
  • Understand and explain next steps upon members acceptance into the new product or service.
  • Maintains knowledge of credit reporting loan processing procedures and underwriting guidelines.
  • Provide timely closing of accepted products or services by responding quickly to member requests via all channels of communication.
  • Proactively participate in outbound calling campaigns contests and other sales initiatives to generate business.
  • Maintain indepth knowledge of credit union products and comply with all department and security policies procedures and federal regulations; including BSA requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to members requests resolving issues and/or directing them to the appropriate department to ensure member satisfaction.
Requirements

Specific knowledge skills and abilities required for this position:

Driven and competitive to exceed established sales and lending goals; ability to promote a sales/service environment; possess a highlevel understanding of lending practices/tools credit reports and ancillary loan products; working knowledge of a variety of financial products and services; excellent member service skills; exceptional interpersonal and oral communication skills; basic computer and typing skills; excellent time management and organizational skills; professional and polished in both attitude and appearance


Education:

Highschool diploma or equivalent


Experience:

Minimum 1year outbound sales experience.

Minimum 2 years Sales/Service experience in a Retail and/or Financial Institution environment.
