Job Description
CSS is working with a respected Healthcare System in need of an Assistant Counsel that will support the business and legal strategy. This position is located in Abilene Texas.
Responsibilities:
Negotiating drafting analyzing and interpreting a wide variety of commercial contracts
Manages and improves contract lifecycle process
Develops enhances and reviews policies and procedures related to contractual obligations and general healthcare and data privacy laws
Serves in a generalist role supporting various corporate legal projects
Requirements:
J.D. from a recognized accredited US law school with strong academic credentials and membership in at least one U.S. state bar
Attorney with 57 years of relevant experience with commercial transactions in a law firm or inhouse legal department
Experience with a hospital medical device pharmaceutical or diagnostics company preferred
