Heritage Hall is currently seeking a Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse at our Lexington VA facility!
Job Description The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for participating in the direct care of residents as well as supervising all nonprofessional personnel in the Nursing Department at our 60 bed facility. They administer stock and dispose of medications in accordance with facility policies and procedures. The LPN ensures that the CNAs are properly administering services and that there is adequate CNA coverage on each shift.
Part Time: Days 6:00 am 2:00 pm
Position Requirements
Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program
Must have active LPN licensure in the state of Virginia
Experience in longterm care preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals
Ability to read and understand written and oral instructions
Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures
Knowledge of laws regulations and guidelines governing nursing in a longterm care facility
