Job Description

Friends School of Portland seeks a parttime (between 2530 hours/week) Spanish teacher for our Preschool8th grade school. Experience teaching Spanish and the ability to work with children ages 314 years old required. The ideal candidate will have experience building a trusting classroom environment working closely with colleagues in a joyful community and facilitating active academic and socialemotional learning. Teaching certification advanced degree experience with Responsive Classroom Developmental Designs or Restorative Practices preferred. Native speaker preferred.Friends School of Portland is an independent preschool through 8thgrade school arising from Quaker faith and practice and built upon longheld standards of exceptional Friends schools.
