Job Purpose: Ultimately responsible for preventative and diagnostic maintenance of equipment.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machinery and facility equipment
- Perform mechanic skills including but not limited to mechanical electrical pneumatic hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machinery
- Support with machine improvement and the installation of new equipment
- Must have controls robot programming and automation experience
- Complete TPM activities on workshop equipment
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and blueprints to perform required maintenance and service
- Use a variety of hand and power tools electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
- Perform other duties as required or assigned by supervisor
- Follow all OSHA and internal safety standards

Qualifications :
- High School Diploma GED or equivalent work experience
- Technical certification in mechanical electrical or other technical field preferred
- 35 years verifiable experience in Industrial Maintenance
- Specific experience maintaining stamping presses preferred
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Automation experience
- Well versed in standard preventative maintenance protocols
- Proficient in use of hand tools power tools shop equipment and appropriate PPE
- Proficient in metal cutting welding drilling and tapping
- Working knowledge of PLC and relay logic control systems
- Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic devices and controls
- Working knowledge of electrical distribution systems and LOTO procedures
- Previous experience maintaining air compressors a plus
- Previous experience programming automated equipment including robots
- Ability to perform active job duties that require standing walking bending kneeling stooping crouching crawling and climbing
- Ability to lift and/or move 50 lbs
