Falk College seeks a parttime instructor to teach SWK / MFT 724 Sec M700 3 credits) in the Summer 2024 semester 5/13/20248/23/2024. Online synchronous and asynchronous. Course description: Stressful processes of living focusing on individual attitudinal and behavioral responses that may be maladaptive. Traditional mental health theories and classifications and relevant perspectives from sociology social psychology and biology. Class meets:Mondays (sync) 5:307:30 PM EST w/async
Responsibilities
Developing and/or updating a class syllabus. Preparation of lectures projects or other student assignments. Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours. Presenting instruction based on the competencies and performance levels of the course. Meeting all designated class periods. Submitting completed midsemester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations. Grading student assignments and exams in timely manner. Completion and submission of CSWE competencybased student outcomes for department assessment/accreditation. Providing departmentally sanctioned forms for completed student evaluations. Building a positive rapport with students and other faculty.
Qualifications
Qualifications: MA or PhD and previous teaching experience.
