Job Description
VETERINARY BEHAVIORIST
We are looking for a boardcertified/boardeligible Veterinary Behaviorist who is patientfocused has excellent teamwork and communication skills and embodies our core values to join our noncorporate Primary Care Emergency and Specialty hospital. Our Behavioral Medicine Department is distinctive in that it is integrated with the rest of our hospital! This integration allows the members of our Behavior Department toassist with lowstress handling and management of inpatient and outpatient hospitalwide in addition to providing care for primary Behavior patients.
Our Behavior Department consists of 1 Veterinary Behaviorist 1 Trainer and several dedicated veterinary technicians and coordinators. We are eager to welcome a second Behaviorist who would enjoy the unique aspects of our Behavior Department to our team!
Mount Laurel Animal Hospital offers numerous specialties including Anesthesiology Avian & Exotics Behavioral Medicine Cardiology Clinical Pathology Critical Care Diagnostic Imaging Internal Medicine Neurology Oncology Ophthalmology Rehabilitation and Specialty Surgery!

We are well staffed with 200 support staff and highly trained veterinary technicians including several veterinary technician specialists spanning multiple specialties such as Anesthesia Dentistry Diagnostic Imaging Emergency and Critical Care Exotics and Oncology.
We are fully equipped with a 64 Slice CT scanner 1.5 Tesla MRI fluoroscopy endoscopic equipment a fully integrated inhouse laboratory advanced and minimally invasive surgical suites ultrasound digital radiography therapy laser surgical laser oxygen cages chemotherapy hood and fully stocked pharmacy.
Our veterinary hospital is located in Mount Laurel NJ which is a convenient 2025 minute commute from Philadelphia. We are located 1 hour from New York City and the New Jersey shore towns making our area an excellent choice for work and play!
