You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailReporting to the Manager Studio Services the Photo Media Technician Light Sensitive Processing Technician is responsible for developing and supporting light sensitive processing facilities and photographic equipment. In addition the incumbent is responsible for facilitating the access and development of a centralized equipment inventory available for loan. This position is also responsible for supporting various technology enhanced teaching and learning spaces including an accessible highcapacity computing facility.
An BFA in Fine Arts with a concentration in Photo Media or equivalent and at least four 4 years experience with photography and relevant computer equipment and software is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. The incumbent must have specialized knowledge of audiovisual and computer equipment and software and excellent troubleshooting skills. Experience working in a postsecondary educational environment is an asset. Excellent interpersonal skills service orientation and an ability to communicate effectively are essential. Well developed organizational and time management skills are required.
