What You Will Get To Do:
- Perform welding task using MIG TIG or Stick techniques
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to determine welding specifications
- Fabrication of components using a variety of metals such as steel and aluminum
- Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect welds for accuracy quality and adherence to company standards
- Perform grinding cutting and other finishing tasks to ensure smooth welds
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following all safety guidelines and protocols
- Report equipment malfunctions or material shortages to the supervisor
- Count and maintain accurate tracking of jobs
- Perform quality checks
- Keep a clean and organized work area
- Inspect parts and machinery for errors
What You Will Bring:
- 2 years of handson welding experience a manufacturing setting or related industry experience working with different welding processes (MIG TIG Stick FluxCored Arc Welding)
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent valid drivers license completion of trade or vocational program
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in multiple welding techniques (e.g. FCAW GTAW SMAW) strong understanding of metal properties heat treatment and welding metallurgy
