Description
Aerometals is looking to add the following position:
Assembler
Pay range: $20 $25 hourly
Schedule: Monday Thursday 7:00am 4:30pm & Friday 7:00am 12:00pm
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to:
- Install units parts equipment and components according to blueprints and specifications.
- Utilize hand tools power tools and other manufacturing equipment to assemble.
- Bolt screw or rivet accessories to fasten support or hang components and subassemblies.
- Read interpret and follow the traveler drawing specification and work instructions.
- Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications using standard measuring tool as required.
- Cut trim and files parts while verifying fitting tolerances to prepare for installation.
- Apply sealants or paint per customer specifications using proper safety devices.
- Identify product defects and communicate errors to appropriate personnel.
- Make tooling when required.
- Bag and tag finished products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements:
Education: None required
Skills:
- Mechanically inclined with good manual dexterity.
- Ability to understand drawings specifications and work instructions.
Experience: 6 months of transferable experience
Training: On the job training.

Aerometals Inc. of El Dorado Hills California is a 40year veteran of commercial and military aerospace manufacturing. We offer a full range of production services including CNC machining and turning sheet metal fabrication welding assembly autoclave and precision assembly. Aerometals has significant experience manufacturing critical application militarized components to OEM engineering data for use on many fixed wing aircraft and helicopters. Customers include the US Military Boeing Lockheed Sikorsky etc.
With over 150 employees in 150000 sq. ft. of space Aerometals offers competitive salaries exceptional benefit packages and believes in a true worklife balance. The company has very low employee turnover. We are expanding because we just finished construction that doubled our size and have a 3year backlog in contracts.
