Departmental Analyst 9P11
This position functions as a policy analyst for the statewide PersonCentered Options Counseling (PCOC) program State Health Insurance Assistance (SHIP) program and the Medicare Improvement for Patients and Providers Act (MIPPA) program. As a policy analyst this individual performs a full range of professional research and analysis assignments and policy development implementation and technical assistance supporting the work of the Community Options Support and Services (COSS) Section. The policy analyst works closely with the SHIP and MIPPA grant manager PCOC grant manager and Training manager to coordinate compliance with federal requirements and policy. The policy analyst follows appropriate program policy promulgation processes to ensure the state is compliant with federal rules and regulations related to program policy.

The physical location of this position islocated: 400 South Pine Lansing Mi 48933. Based on operational needs and within established limits remote work and alternate or hybrid work schedule requests for this position may be considered.
Selected candidates who have been approved to work remotely or a hybrid schedule must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.
