Job Description
Were looking for an enthusiastic Assistant CAD Technician to join our supportive design team. Whether youve recently completed a course or have a little handson experience this is a great opportunity to kickstart a longterm career in infrastructure design.
Full training will be provided all you need is basic CAD knowledge and a willingness to learn.
What youll be doing:
- Producing accurate AutoCAD drawings to support water infrastructure designs
- Redrafting external design elements and hand sketches onto AutoCAD templates
- Ensuring drawings are completed to the required standards and timescales
- Providing general drawing office support to our Clients Technical and Operations teams
- Maintaining open communication with internal teams and supporting project collaboration
- Assisting in the maintenance of the drawing record database
What were looking for:
- A foundation in CAD (from college a short course personal interest or work experience)
- Enthusiasm to grow your skills in a realworld design environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in your work
- A teamfocused attitude and good communication skills
- Basic IT skills including Microsoft Office
