Job Description
An Adjunct Instructor in the School of Social Work is responsible for teaching students in a designated course. They are responsible for teaching the course as designed as well as determining grades for course requirements based on the course objectives and criteria as defined in the course syllabus. They receive support from the Program Coordinators to ensure student success.

Adjunct instructors are not required to participate as a team member in shared governance are not responsible for advising students and are not voting members of the School of Social Work.
All new adjunct instructors begin at Step 2 rate of the compensation levels. Please review the links for wage compensation calculations and additional benefits.
