Job Description

Vermont Day School is an independent PreK to 8 school in Shelburne Vermont. The school offers exceptional instruction in academics along with a projectbased approach to learning that fosters critical thinking problemsolving creativity and collaboration. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Teacher for an elementary classroom. The Assistant Teacher will work alongside the Head Classroom Teacher and assist with planning developing and implementing instruction in Reading Writing Math Global studies and PE. Helping to build classroom culture and routines and foster socialemotional learning in a multiage environment are additional responsibilities of this position. Prior experience working with children in grades K5 in a school setting is preferred.
