US Farathane is hiring for a CAD Data Coordinator this role will work out of our Corporate Tech Center located in Auburn Hills working onsite supporting engineering and design functions. Summary: The CAD Data Coordinator is a technical/analytical focusoriented position that requires the ability to work in a busy environment handling daily multiple simultaneous projects and tasks. The position requires a professional working style that is focused on efficient accurate and quality output. The Data Coordinator plays an important role in meeting our primary policy which is to support the continued success of our customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Uses OEMs Teamcenter to release and store 3D data 3D Annotation and 2D customer drawings. Basic understanding of GD&T preferred.
- Understands processes and procedures including running OEM Database and all Global Requirements.
- Experience managing formal & official releases from start to finish.
- Work directly with Engineering Team to ensure Body CAD requirements are met.
- Communicates with Design Manager on project deliverables and timing.
- Keep Design Team up to date on Customers procedures & practices.
- Uses CAD tools Catia V5 & NX for light 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation 3D drawing creation & transmissions
- Pushing and pulling data out of internal & OEM database.
- Maintain 3D Printer & CAD Room Plotter.
- Maintenance of all types of Engineering files i.e. production project specifications drawings and technical manuals.
- Establish and maintain the Engineerings Parts database.
- Assist project engineers in developing and maintaining project management documentation.
Qualifications: - Degree preferred Technical training certifications and some college preferred with CAD. (equivalent job experience will be considered)
- Minimum 5 years experience with CAD & Drafting standards.
- Minimum 5 years experience using Catia V5 or NX software.
- 15 years Catia V5 or NX drawing experience.
- Familiarity with Customers Global Requirements.
- Experience handling confidential data.
- Microsoft Office Word Power Point & Excel.
- Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively within a team environment.
- Above average written and verbal English communication skills.
- Well organized selfstarter who is detail oriented.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced multitasking professional office.
- Attention to accuracy and quality of work
