Join our international Finance team at Rituals where over 70 passionate professionals from more than 7 nationalities work together to shape the financial future of our brand. Within the Financial Control team of 20 we empower each other to grow challenge the status quo and celebrate success.
As Financial Controller for Central Europe you will primarily focus on our Benelux entities. Youll become a key player in a compact collaborative team of five reporting directly to the Head of Financial Control Central Europe. The Central Europe region covers Benelux the UK Ireland and the Nordicsgiving your role both scale and impact.
Your key responsibilities:
In this role youll oversee the financial monthend close process for the Benelux region. While our accounting assistants handle most journal entries youll take ownership of the more complex financial analyses and collaborate closely with the business controllers.
Your work will also include:
Preparing statutory financial statements (both local and group level)
Supporting external audits and ensuring tax compliance (CIT & VAT)
Monitoring P&L and balance sheets through detailed analytical reviews
Investigating variances and providing input for monthly and quarterly reports
Leading and contributing to financial process improvement initiativesoften in collaboration with other departments
Your insights and accuracy will directly influence strategic decisions and performance reviews at both local and regional levels.
Qualifications :
You bring high energy low ego and a healthy dose of humor. With a critical yet constructive mindset you know how to dig into the details without losing sight of the bigger picture. Youre a natural collaborator who thrives in an international fastpaced environment.
You also bring:
At least 3 years experience as a Financial Controller or Auditor
A degree (HBO/WO) in Finance Accounting or a related field
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
Fluency in both Dutch and English written and spoken
A grounded approachable and professional attitude
