Support high schools in the campus service area with K14 Initiatives including but not limited to dual credit and/or early college initiatives. This position will provide academic and student support services that help students with the opportunity to earn up to two years of college credit while in high school. Primary goals of this position include ensuring all students are following a specific plan toward completion of dual credit coursework a Technical Certificate or an Associates Degree with the College by tracking student progress. It also includes ensuring matriculation for students who do not complete a credential while in high school. High schools partnering with the College will receive a broad array of professional level support services by coordinating and executing various resources and support including but not limited to benchmarking/remediation tutoring/supplemental instruction high school faculty parent support and college/career readiness.
- Track class schedules to ensure students are taking appropriate coursework that leads to the completion of an Ivy Tech credential.
- Track student progress communicate information to high school faculty/staff.
- Meet with students who are not persisting and communicate information to high school faculty/staff.
- Executes strategic initiatives to achieve collegewide and campuslevel metrics.
- Recruit on behalf of Ivy Tech promoting the benefits of the Community College in order to increase the number of inquiries and applicants to the College along with the conversion of those inquiries and applicants to help move students through the enrollment process.
- Coordinate with the high schools and Ivy Tech faculty/staff to provide resources for tutoring or supplemental instruction.
- Assist in administering college placement exams to ensure students are meeting collegelevel benchmarks.
- Coordinate with high school and Ivy Tech faculty/staff to provide remediation strategies to assist students in meeting collegelevel benchmarks.
- Meet with students to develop individual career plans.
- Coordinate with Ivy Tech staff/faculty to share local career information and job placement data with students.
- Coordinate college visits and visits to local businesses/industries to expose students to various career options.
- Coordinate parent workshops to assist families with admission applications financial aid and scholarships.
- Create a specified matriculation plan for high school.
- Deliver onsite services promoting Dual Credit/Early College programs at high schools including but not limited to information sessions admissions assessment testing advising orientation sessions registration obtaining transcripts and guidance with financial aid resources.
- Participate i n Dual Credit/Early College Events at area high schools as needed.
- Keep appropriate records.
- Maintain confidentiality of student records and data.

Salary Range: $43000 $46000

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in education public affairs social services or related field
Demonstrated ability to coordinate implement and evaluate program(s). - Strong communication skills both written and verbal are required.
- Good public relations skills and selfmotivation required
- Must possess required knowledge and skills of computers and related software applications for program planning and implementation including record keeping
- Must be able to administer and interpret assessment results
- Must be able to travel throughout North Central Indiana mobile office environment
Referred Qualifications:
- Experience working in higher education and high schoolage youth preferred
