Job Description
Woody Buick GMC is seeking Apprentice and Skilled Technicians. We are seeking for individuals eager to begin a career as an automotive technician for full time in a Local Shop. Join a growing team in a high traffic shop. Extensive training is available to those who are career focused in addition to Healthcare Pension and 401k.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough multipoint inspections
- Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency in accordance with dealership and/or General Motors standards
- Preform lube oil and filter changes tire rotations and fluid topoff
- Tirerotations as well asrepairing mounting andbalancing
- Explain recommendationsin a nontechnical manner to service advisors and customers
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in training sessions in order to advance career and stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
- Use power tools machine tools and common hand tools to perform various tasks
Job Requirements:
- General knowledge of automobiles
- Hold a valid drivers license
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Experience with automatic
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications are not required but recommended.
- Maintain current factory training
- Hold a valid drivers license
- Team oriented flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
