Job Description
Precision Aviation Group (PAG) is a leading provider of products and valueadded services to the aerospace and defense industries worldwide. With over 1.1 million squarefeet sales and services facilities in the United States Canada Australia Singapore Brazil PAGs 27 locations and customerfocused business model serve aviation customers through Supply Chain and Inventory Supported Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (ISMRO) services.
We currently have a position open for a Manual Machinist with PAGs Keystone Turbine Services Coatesville PA division.
JOB PURPOSE
The Manual Machinist uses a variety of tools to machine component parts for aircraft engines.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Functions
- Operate machining tools to produce precision parts and instruments.
- Modify parts and materials to improve overall production.
- Test completed equipment to detect and remove defects.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery.
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments.
Ideal candidates will offer:
- Must possess a full understanding and handson experience with manual lathes manual milling machines and related machine shop equipment
- Strong mechanical skills and mechanical aptitude
- Job shop machinist with a minimum of 5 yearsexperience
- Strong mathematical skills
- Proficient in the use of micrometers Vernier calipers and indicators
Physical Demands: This is a primarily standing position at least 80 of the day. Must be able to push/pull at least 50lbs. ability to reach above bend over and carry at least 30 lbs.
