Sr Mechanical Engineer - Primoris Engineering

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our midstream EPC team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering with expertise in the design analysis and of midstream projects including pipelines compressors and related facilities. This role will involve collaborating with crossfunctional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects while adhering to budget schedule and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and engineering activities for midstream projects ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Develop and review mechanical engineering deliverables including specifications calculations drawings and reports.
• Conduct detailed mechanical analysis including stress analysis fluid dynamics and thermal analysis.
• Oversee procurement activities including the evaluation and selection of mechanical equipment and materials.
• Collaborate with project managers clients and other engineering disciplines to define project scope schedule and deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Participate in risk assessments and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies.
• Stay current with industry trends technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement in engineering processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 1015 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the oil and gas industry with a focus on midstream projects.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards (ASME API ANSI) and design codes.
• Proficient in mechanical design software (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks CAE tools).
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fastpaced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment.
