Job Description
Job Title: Executive Vice President of Operations
Job Description:
As the Executive Vice President of Operations in the construction industry you will be a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for overseeing all aspects of our companys operations to drive efficiency productivity and profitability. You will provide strategic direction operational leadership and tactical support to ensure the successful of projects the optimization of resources and the delivery of highquality services to our clients.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CEO and other senior leaders to develop and execute strategic plans objectives and initiatives aligned with the companys vision mission and goals. Lead the development and implementation of operational strategies policies and procedures to drive continuous improvement innovation and competitive advantage.
Operational Excellence: Oversee all operational functions including project management construction operations supply chain management logistics and quality control. Implement best practices performance metrics and quality standards to optimize operational efficiency minimize costs and enhance project delivery timelines and outcomes.
Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively including personnel equipment materials and subcontractors to support project requirements timelines and budgets. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with suppliers vendors and subcontractors to ensure reliable access to resources and mitigate supply chain risks.
Risk Management: Identify assess and mitigate operational risks and challenges proactively to minimize disruptions delays and cost overruns. Implement robust risk management processes safety protocols and compliance measures to ensure a safe working environment and regulatory compliance.
Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead a highperforming operations team including project managers supervisors and field staff by providing guidance coaching and mentorship. Foster a culture of collaboration accountability and continuous learning to empower employees drive engagement and achieve operational excellence.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in construction management civil engineering business administration or a related field; Masters degree or MBA preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in construction operations project management or related roles with a demonstrated track record of success in driving operational excellence and achieving business objectives.
Deep industry knowledge and expertise in construction processes methods and technologies with a strong understanding of project lifecycle management scheduling budgeting and resource allocation.
Exceptional leadership communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire trust build consensus and collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams clients and stakeholders.
Strong business acumen analytical skills and strategic thinking with the ability to analyze complex issues make datadriven decisions and drive results in a dynamic and competitive market environment.
