DescriptionEVENT MANAGER ALEXANDRIA EVENTS
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Event Manager to join our team at The Alexandria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning coordinating and executing a wide range of events from corporate conferences and product launches to weddings and social gatherings. This position requires a strategic thinker who can manage multiple projects simultaneously has a keen eye for detail and is skilled at building and maintaining relationships with clients vendors and team members. The position will represent multiple venues within our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning & : Oversee the endtoend planning and of events ensuring that all aspects are delivered on time within budget and to the highest standards.
- Client Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for clients working closely to understand their vision and objectives and translating them into successful events.
- Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors ensure compliance and verify COI limits and ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
- Budget Management: Work in tandem with the Event Sales Director to create manage and track revenue ensuring cost efficiency while delivering highquality experiences.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as Sales Operations Member Experience and Amenities as well as external partners (ARE EXOS etc.. to ensure seamless event including event design catering audiovisual entertainment and more.
- Event Logistics: Handle all logistical aspects in collaboration with the Event Coordinator such as facilities reports transportation arrangement floorplans permits and insurance.
- Onsite Management: Lead event setup manage staff and vendors onsite troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth event operations.
- PostEvent Evaluation: Conduct postevent debriefs gather feedback and prepare feedback forms to continuously improve the event planning process.
RELATIONSHIPS:
The Event Manager will work with the guidance of the Events Sales Director and overseen by the General Manager. The Event Manager is expected to take their own initiative and be selfmotivated be proactive and always maintain a solutionbased approach. There is a need for excellent communication and the continued maintenance of relationships with all Operators Partners Landlord Team Members Vendors and Guests. This position will also oversee the daytoday duties of our event coordination team.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3 years experience within restaurant hospitality or entertainment
- Ability to connect quickly with clients vendors and team members to drive event sales
- Experience running highvolume events
- High School diploma or equivalent; hospitality or business education a plus
- Excellent communication (verbal written)
- Excellent timemanagement organization and followthrough
- Strong decisionmaking skills
- Selfmotivated with high selfawareness and integrity
- Ability to pivot and drive change
- Openly receives feedback and coaching and reacts accordingly
- Availability to work varied shifts including holidays nights and weekends
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time including up and down stairs
- Ability to obtain required local state and federal licenses and/or certificates for your business location
COMPENSATION:
- Salary Range: $72.5 80k commission
