Job Description
Carolinas Collision Center of Lexington is seeking a motivated and and detailoriented Automotive Body Technician to join our growing team! In this role you will play a vital part in the automotive repair process by restoring vehicles to their preaccident condition. From assessing damage to performing bodywork and refinishing your expertise will help ensure highquality repairs and customer satisfaction. ICAR certification is preferred but not required!
Responsibilities:
- Assist in disassembling and reassembling vehicle components as part of the repair process.
- Inspect vehicles to determine the extent of damage and necessary repairs.
- Perform bodywork including dent removal. panel replacement frame straightening and welding.
- Ensure all repairs meet industry standards and customer expectations through thorough inspections.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding repair status and estimates.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Some handson experience in auto body repair collision repair or a related field is a plus
- Proficiency in using hand tools power tools welding equipment and other automotive repair tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to achieve highquality results
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment bend and stand for extended periods
- Teamoriented mindset with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Basic communication skills to interact with team members and customers when necessary
- Must pass preemployment background screenings
