Job Description

Angott Search Group is honored to work pro bono with a leading Metro Detroit charitable organization in their search for a Major & Planned Gifts Officer for Western Michigan.This role offers a meaningful opportunity to support a missiondriven organization dedicated to making a positive impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage relationships with individual and corporate donors to secure gifts ranging from $5000 to $250000.
  • Identify cultivate and solicit major and planned gifts including stock transfers and retirement distributions.
  • Maintain a portfolio of 75100 donors conducting regular facetoface visits and strategydriven calls.
  • Collaborate with the CEO advisory board and volunteers to develop donor engagement strategies.
  • Assist with donor events stewardship efforts and awarenessbuilding initiatives.
  • Ensure donor records are accurately maintained in Salesforce.

Qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience securing major and/or planned gifts including gifts of $10000.
  • Strong donor qualification skills and familiarity with Moves Management.
  • Bachelors degree (CFRE preferred).
  • Proficiency in donor database management and reporting.
  • Excellent communication leadership and strategic thinking skills.
